Our offices

We are not part of a firm of Solicitors which means we are entirely independent and not reliant on billing targets which Solicitors have to cover their large regulatory overheads. One of their primary purposes is to ensure they make as much as money as possible from you; if you are dealing with a firm of Solicitors you should ask if they have billing targets and what that is.

You can rest assure that we are independent and our focus is to provide you with the best possible outcome in a cost-effective manner. This is precisely why, we aim for you to have full control over your case so we can help minimise costs, you would otherwise have paid. Accreditations and memberships

Kabir Family Law holds three employer commitments as a firm. Two further professional accreditations are held personally by Iblal Iqbal, Partner and Family Law Strategist, rather than by the firm. Each one is set out below, with the body that awards it.

Kinship Friendly Employer, Bronze standard — held by the firm

Kabir Family Law is a Bronze Standard Kinship Friendly Employer, recognised by Kinship in August 2026. Kinship is the kinship care charity in England and Wales, and its Kinship Friendly Employer scheme recognises employers at Bronze, Silver and Gold standards. Disability Confident Committed — held by the firm

Kabir Family Law is a Disability Confident Committed employer. Disability Confident is run by the Department for Work and Pensions and has three levels: Committed, Employer and Leader. Employers at the Committed level agree to five commitments, the first of which is to make their recruitment process inclusive and accessible.

Age-friendly Employer — held by the firm

Kabir Family Law is an Age-friendly Employer. The Age-friendly Employer Pledge is run by the Centre for Ageing Better, and employers who sign it take one action each year to improve the recruitment, retention and development of workers aged 50 and over.

Resolution accredited membership — held by Iblal Iqbal

Iblal Iqbal, Partner and Family Law Strategist, is an accredited member of Resolution, the UK’s leading organisation for family justice professionals, and works in line with Resolution’s Code of Practice, which commits members to a constructive, non-confrontational approach to resolving family disputes. This accreditation is held by Iblal Iqbal in his own name.

CILEX Advanced Paralegal, MCILEx — held by Iblal Iqbal
