About Hannah Overton

Hannah Overton is Kabir Family Law’s complex children specialist and client support lead – our go to expert for high stakes children cases in the family courts across England and Wales. She focuses on advice, guidance and practical preparation for families whose children matters are in, or moving towards, court. When a case needs courtroom advocacy, she helps clients make the most of our trusted network of direct access counsels and stays closely involved in strategy and preparation – including, where needed, attending hearings to provide clear, court aware guidance and steady support alongside the legal team.

Families know Hannah for taking overwhelming situations and breaking them into simple, step by step actions that parents and wider relatives can actually follow. She works daily on child arrangements disputes, including cases where grandparents and extended family are trying to stay in touch, and matters involving the local authority or CAFCASS – always stripping away jargon so families understand what is happening in plain English at every stage.
