Exit Stockport station and head towards the town centre. Follow the pedestrian route through the town centre towards Edward Street. The Courthouse is clearly signposted and sits on Edward Street. The walk takes approximately 8-10 minutes at a comfortable pace.

Stockport family court is excellently served by local bus services. The 192 bus route operates frequently between Manchester Piccadilly and Hazel Grove via Stockport, stopping very close to the court. Other services including the 313, 312, 314, and 364 also serve the area.
Nearest Bus Stop: Stopford House (just 55 metres from the court – under 2 minutes walk)
The 192 service runs every few minutes during peak times, making it an extremely reliable option. Check live bus times at the Transport for Greater Manchester.
Driving to Stockport County Court takes approximately 2 minutes from the station area via Piccadilly and Station Road. The court is easily accessible from the M60 motorway and the A6, making it convenient for those travelling from surrounding areas including Manchester, Cheshire, and Derbyshire.
The court itself does not have parking facilities. However, several public car parks are located within easy walking distance:
